The movement of goods from the supplier to the consumer is documented and controlled by shipping papers stipulated by the terms of delivery of goods and the rules for the carriage of goods: waybill, consignment note, railway waybill, and invoice. The waybill, which can act as both an incoming and outgoing paper, must be issued by the financially responsible person when registering the release of goods from the warehouse, when accepting goods in a trade organization. The invoice contains the number and date of issue; the name of the supplier and buyer; the name and a short description of the goods, its quantity (in units), the price and the total amount (including value added tax) of the release of the goods. The number of issued invoice copies depends on the conditions of receiving the goods by the buyer, the type of enterprise of the supplier, the place of transfer of the goods, etc.

When purchasing a product or accepting it, you must monitor the presence of a certificate of conformity of the purchased product. It is recommended that financially responsible persons keep records of primary papers on the arrival of goods in the Goods Receipt Journal of any form, which must contain the name of the incoming form, its date and number, a brief description of the document, the date of its registration, information about the goods received. Papers issued of the acceptance of goods are the basis of settlements with suppliers, and their data cannot be revised after the acceptance of goods in the firm (except the loss of goods from natural loss and damage during transportation).
