Selling a bulk product is not much different from selling a piece product. Weight is the same amount of goods. Only the quantity of a weighted product is determined using trade scales. Scales can be of different models and from different equipment manufacturers. The sale of weighted labeled goods is carried out by reading the barcode from the label, which was printed using scales.
The printing of labels on the weight goods is carried out by trade scales. Before they can start printing labels , they need to be trained. Scales usually come with their own native software. It supports weight list import. Import is most often done through popular file formats. This can be a text file, a ' CSV ' delimited file, or an Excel file. To import a file with a list of goods by weight into the weighing program, it must first be obtained from the accounting system. Trade automation software ' USU ' allows you to export the required information. Including supported and export to Excel .
The list of weighted goods may contain a minimum set of information. Printing a label for a weight product needs the name of the product and its price. The price is necessary to calculate the final cost of the weighed goods. It is these data that are needed to form a label for a weight product. For example, export of such information can be done from the directory "Price lists" . There is a tab at the bottom that lists the prices of products. The tab is called "Product prices" .
Selling weight labeled goods is as simple as possible. Since the weighed goods will already have a label indicating the product code and its weight, the cashier will only have to read the barcode from this label using a barcode scanner.
