How to work with instructions?

Word highlighting

When reading the instructions, you can see that parts of the text are highlighted in ' yellow ' - these are the names of program elements.

Also, the program itself can show you where this or that element is located if you click on the green link. For example, here "user's menu" .
Such a pointer will show the desired element of the program.
If the green link points to an item from the user menu, then on clicking, the menu item will not only be shown to you, but also immediately opened. For example, here is a guide "employees" .
Sometimes it is necessary to pay attention not just to some table, but to a certain field of this table. For example, this field specifies "customer phone number" .
In the form of a regular link, you can go to another section of the instruction, for example, here is a description of the employee directory.
Moreover, the visited link will be displayed in a different color so that you can easily navigate and immediately see those topics that you have already read.
You can also find a combination the usual links and arrows in front of it. By clicking on the arrow, the program will show where the desired element of the program is. And then you can follow the usual link and read in detail on a given topic.
If the instruction refers to submodules , then the program will not only open the required table itself, but also show the desired tab at the bottom of the window. An example is a directory of product names, at the bottom of which you can look at "image of the current product" .
After entering the desired module or directory, the program can also show which command should be selected from the top of the toolbar. For example, here is the command for "additions" new record in any table. Commands from the toolbar can also be found in the context menu by right-clicking on the desired table.
If the command is not visible on the toolbar, the program will show it from above by opening "Main menu" .
Now open the directory "Employees" . Then click on command "Add" . You are now in the mode of adding a new record. In this mode, the program will also be able to show you the desired field. For example, here is entered "employee's position" .
In the instructions, consistently click on all the proposed green links in order to correctly perform the desired sequence of actions. For example, here is the command "exit without saving" from add mode.
