Selecting a value from the directory is quite simple. Let's take a look at the directory as an example. "Branches" , press the command Add and then see how the field is filled, where there is a button with an ellipsis. The value in this field is not entered from the keyboard. You have to choose from a list. The button with an ellipsis opens the required reference book upon pressing, from which the value is subsequently selected.
In departments, this field is called "financial item" . The choice for it is made from the directory Financial articles .

If we cannot find the desired value in the directory, then it can be easily added. To do this, after clicking on the button with an ellipsis, when you get into the directory "financial articles" , press command "Add" .
At the end, when the value of interest to us has been added or found, it remains to be selected by double-clicking the mouse or pressing the button "Choose" .
We have just selected a value from the lookup while in the mode of adding or editing a record. It remains to end this mode by pressing the button "Save" .
