A special form is offered, called the order window, in which the operator enters information about the things to be handed over. If the client is not a beginner, the database will automatically load into this window all available information about him or her, including the contract number, if any. The operator selects the necessary things from the proposed options corresponding to the case or adds new data on the composition of the order. Automation to optimize this procedure offers a built-in classifier of things accepted for processing, a price list, and an indicator to determine the degree of the presence of defects, so that the customer does not make claims when the order is ready. Here, too, information is added not from the keyboard, but by selecting the appropriate position in the drop-down menu from each cell. Further, automation offers optimization for the formation of a receipt for the client based on the information that was entered in the order window. The receipt contains a complete list of items to be handed over. Against each its characteristic features and the cost of the service are indicated, the total amount is presented below the table.
Optimization lies in the fact that the operator has no relation to the readiness of the receipt. It is drawn up by the laundry automation program and then printed. The receipt also indicates the prepayment and the balance that should be received when issuing the finished order. In all cases, automation conducts independent calculations, which also optimizes the operator's work in the laundry. The laundry automation system offers the separation of staff rights to access service information, so each employee works exclusively in a separate work area. To enter the laundry system, employees are assigned personal logins and passwords, which determine the workspace, as well as the amount of service data available when performing duties. The performance of duties is recorded in personal electronic forms, in which the user adds the results, finished operations, and the values of current indicators. Personal electronic forms are the user's area of responsibility; the management regularly checks the information in them for compliance with the real state of the processes. The audit function is used to carry out the control procedure; it highlights the changes in the work logs made since the last check, speeding up this reconciliation.
