Accounting at the currency exchange office offered by the USU Software is automated, or organized in the current time - when any changes in the operation of the currency exchange office are recorded at the time of these changes. Accounting of a currency exchange point consists in registering currency exchange operations - buying and/or selling, while the currency can be presented in any number of names and in different volumes. The interchange point itself, more precisely, its cashier and other employees do not participate in the accounting - the condition of automation is the complete exclusion of the human factor from the accounting procedures in order to increase the correctness and speed of their implementation.

The cashier takes part only in the exchange - transfer and acceptance of currency, other funds. Even all changes in the currency - its available quantity at the current time after the sale and/or purchase is registered by the accounting configuration at the interchange point, instantly changing the available quantity on the main screen of the software provided to the cashier to control the current situation of availability of enough currency at the exchange office. To assess the contribution of the accounting application at the exchange office to the activities of the point itself, one should briefly present its functions in the execution and registration of currency exchange procedures.

Who is the developer?

Imagine a screen divided vertically into four colored zones - each has its own task, where the cashier performs certain manipulations when making an exchange. The first zone on the left shows general information on each currency - its quantity at the exchange office at the moment, the current rate of the regulator for it and the international three-digit designation (USD, EUR, RUS) next to the flag of its country of origin, in order to highlight each currency name among the neighboring and, thereby, making it more visual for the cashier. This zone has no color to highlight the currency denomination with a flag. The following zones - green for buy and blue for sale - are similar and differ in color.

Similarity is a kind of unification of the actions of the cashier during the exchange, so that they do not get confused in different operations. Both zones have a field of entering the amount of currency to be bought and/or sold, and the current rate set by the exchange office of each operation. The last zone, or the first on the right, is the national equivalent settlement area, and the accounting configuration in the exchange office automatically indicates here the amount of funds that the point needs to transfer and/or receive from the client when carrying out an exchange operation, respectively. Here, too, there is a field of entering the amount - the one that was received from the client for payment, and a field filled in by the program itself to indicate the change that the item should return to the client.

Who is the translator?

The described algorithm makes up the entire field of activity of the cashier and/or point, there is nothing complicated here, while after each exchange operation, the amount of current currency funds immediately changes in the appropriate direction depending on the purchase and/or sale. At the same time, full-fledged accounting is kept of each operation - accounting by currency denominations, accounting of cash in national equivalent, accounting of customers, accounting of the difference in the current exchange rate between the set by the regulator and the point itself, accounting of rate changes, accounting of the discount provided to the client, other types of accounting. All this is performed by the software automatically, reflecting the change in indicators in the relevant documents and, thus, fixing the new current state of the workflow in the exchange office.

In addition to automated accounting, the program offers the same automated analysis of the activities of the exchange office, which allows you to evaluate its effectiveness and determine individual behavioral qualities of currencies depending on time and location, if the company owns not one, but several currency exchange offices. The program has an option of drawing up current reports on the state of foreign exchange funds at the time of the request and an option of generating statistical and analytical reports of a period that is determined by the accounting policy of the enterprise. All reports are formed in a visual and readable form, for which tables, graphs and diagrams are used, which provides a complete visualization of all accounting indicators and their participation in the formation of profits.
