Automation, in principle, is the improvement of any activity since it performs many procedures on its own, thereby solving the personnel issue in several departments at once, not only logistics. For example, automated accounting and control over the movement of funds optimize the activities of the accounting department, maintaining continuous statistical accounting and warehouse accounting in the current time, which improves the quality of the procurement department.

The task of logistics is to create time and cost-optimal routes for moving goods, including their delivery to the warehouse and subsequent delivery to the recipient. External communications are supported by electronic communication in the form of e-mail and SMS, used in sending documents and in regular contacts with clients through various mailings. If the customer has confirmed his consent, the management of the logistics department system regularly sends him messages about the status of his cargo, location, transportation time, problems on the road, and others. The program uses a lot of colours to indicate the state of work and the degree of achievement of the result. The brighter the cell in the list of debtors, the greater the client's debt.
