Organization of accounting of goods in a warehouse in the USU Software begins with its configuration, taking into account all the individual characteristics of the warehouse, including assets, tangible and intangible resources, staffing, the presence of other geographically remote storage facilities in which goods are also placed. When organizing accounting in the settings, the rules of the working processes and accounting procedures are established, according to which the warehouse will carry out its operational activities. Goods in the warehouse are present in huge quantities as a mass and as an assortment, their accounting must be highly efficient, so that it is required to organize control over all goods in general and each item separately.

The organization of accounting for goods in the warehouse provides the formation of several databases to organize control over the goods from all sides - both over the assortment as a whole and over the movement of each commodity item from the assortment. As well as over the storage of the entire assortment, taking into account the requirements for the content of each product in the warehouse. To these databases, such databases as the database of customer orders for goods and the database of counterparties are added. The database lists all customers wishing to purchase goods and suppliers who supply goods to the warehouse.
