Management of international transportations is carried out considering international agreements, also called transport conventions – unique for each type of transport, and other official norms adopted in the system of international transport, which can be both freight and passenger. International transportation is the movement of passengers or goods by one of the types of transport, while the place of departure and place of arrival are located on the territory of different countries or the territory of one country, but with transit through the territory of another state.

The task of international transportation management is the same as tasks that are faced by a company in any field of activity - organization, control, optimization, transportation using own transport or through the services of transport companies, and others. The international transportation management system can be classified according to the principle of dividing the route into separate sections, which is important when using road transport, especially when the roads diverge in different directions, and even during air transportation using hub airports.

Such a management of international transportation system is regulated at each section, a complete list of which is collected in a specially formed regulatory framework of each transport, embedded in the USU Software that provides automatic management without the participation of personnel, providing ready-made results of all the types of enterprise activities, including freight forwarding and transportation. When accepting an order in the international transportation management system, the manager fills out an application of transportation in a special form that has a special format, due to which the data entry procedure is accelerated if the client has already been registered in the system since in this case a menu with a full list of tips on past shipments appears, and the employee needs to indicate the desired option. If the customer has applied for the first time, the international transportation management system offers the first registration, suggesting an active transition from the form to fill into the relevant databases.

This format guarantees the efficiency of data accounting due to the completeness of their coverage and excludes false information when the user enters inaccurate information since in this case the balance of data from different categories, configured through the filling form, is upset. All these calculations are performed automatically when the manager specifies the received values of the order and its transportation. A delivery cost may include not only the cost of transportation but also the cost of protecting the cargo and various insurance coverage if a client requires it.
