Mandatory fields are in all programs and websites. If such fields are not filled in, then the program will not be able to function correctly. That is why programs check the required fields. For example, let's enter the module "Patients" and then call the command "Add" . A form for adding a new patient will appear.
Required fields are marked with an 'asterisk'. If the star is red, then the required field has not yet been filled in. And when you fill it in and go to another field, the color of the star will change to green.
If you try to save a record without completing a required field, you will receive an error message . In it, the program will tell you which field still needs to be filled.
And here you can find out why some fields appear immediately with a green 'asterisk' .
For example, field "Patient category"
Automatic completion of most of the required fields saves a lot of time for each specialist. But the remaining fields must be filled in manually.
But not necessarily does not mean it is not necessary! For example, if a manager does not have time and a large flow of clients, he may not ask how the patient found out about the clinic, and may not enter his contact numbers. But if time permits, it is better to fill everything to the maximum. So you can track different analytics in the system. For example, from which region do patients come to you, which of the partners sends more to you or do a mailing list with messages about promotions and offers using your contact information!
How to configure auto-filled fields is described on the pages of this manual. Please note that for entries from directories that have the 'Main' checkbox checked, only one entry should have such a checkbox.
For example, the 'main' checkbox should only be for one currency out of all.
