Export Reports

These features are only available in the Professional configuration.

File Format Selection

Exporting reports is important for sharing information. Let's generate any report, for example, "Salary" , which calculates the amount of wages for doctors at piecework wages.

Fill in only the required parameters 'with an asterisk' and press the button "Report" .

When the generated report is displayed, pay attention to the button at the top "Export" .

There are so many possible formats for exporting the report in the drop-down list of this button that all of them do not even fit on the image, as evidenced by the black triangle at the bottom of the image, indicating that you can scroll down to see commands that do not fit. There is an export of the report to Excel. It also supports exporting the report to PDF and other well-known formats.

Export report to Excel

For example, let's select ' Excel Document 97/2000/XP... '. This menu item will allow us to download the report in the old spreadsheet format. If you have a newer version of 'Microsoft Office' installed, try other communication formats.

A dialog box will appear with options for exporting to the selected file format. Don't forget to check the ' Open after export ' checkbox to open the file immediately.

Then a standard file save dialog will appear, in which you can select the path to save and write the name of the file to which the report will be exported.

After that, the current report will open in Excel .

Mutable and immutable formats

If you export data to Excel , this is a changeable format, which means the user will be able to change something in the future. For example, you can download patient visits for a certain period of time in order to carry out some additional analysis on them in the future.

But, it happens that you need to send a certain document to the patient so that he cannot add or correct anything. In particular, the result of a laboratory study. Then you can choose to export immutable formats, such as PDF .

Why export might not work?

Functions for exporting data to third-party programs are present only in the ' Professional ' configuration.

When exporting, exactly the program that is responsible for the corresponding file format on your computer opens. That is, if you do not have 'Microsoft Office' installed, you will not be able to export data to its formats.
